I'm honored to have been selected again to be part of this great show!
Art In The Pearl®, Portland Oregon’s annual Fine Arts & Crafts Festival, occurs every year on Labor Day weekend. The 21st annual festival will occur Labor Day Weekend, 2017 in the Pearl District’s North Park Blocks – September 2-4, 2017. The Festival is FREE and requires NO TICKETS for entry. Six guilds in one place at the same time! I'm showing with the Portland Handweavers Guild. This year PHG is embracing many fiber arts, not just weaving. The other participating guilds are Oregon Potters Association, Creative Metal Arts Guild, Portland Bead Society, Oregon Glass Guild, and Guild of Oregon Woodworkers.
Local 14 celebrates its 49th year with big changes! Not only is the event moving to a new location, the Leftbank Annex, it's accepting men artists! The roomy Leftbank Annex is just across the river from the Pearl District and is easily accessible via bus, Max and streetcar. There's parking, too!
PS one of the men artists showing this year is my son, Tom Poirier
Held at the Oregon Convention Center, the Gathering of the Guilds brings together 5 guilds whose members are from all over the Pacific Northwest:

The annual Local 14 Art Show & Sale presents artwork created by over 85 women artists living in the Pacific Northwest. After nearly 50 years, Local 14 continues to promote woman artists and offer the public the highest quality mix of well-crafted and original artwork for sale.
This is such a well-organized event. I've done it for a number of years and always enjoy it. Note the location is at the Trout Lake School this year. I'll have more of those extra-large (30" wide) towels available!
There is continuous live music, great food, free admission and plenty of free parking!
This is a free, self-directed tour of artist studios in the Columbia River Gorge. I'll have a temporary studio in The Dalles Art Center.
I broke my elbow and had surgery on Tuesday to put it back together. Boo hoo. Woe is me. Portland Audubon Society's annual fundraiser held at Montgomery Park.
Come see my new studio! I'm sharing the space with Pam Forbes, another artisan who also weaves and dyes.
The entrance is at the rear of the building located at 614 S Columbus. Directions: From Columbus Avenue, turn East on Brooks. The first driveway is a parking area and the entrance to the studios.
I'll be in George Rogers Park across from the Lakewood Center for the Arts.
